“If you’re not
you’re not needed"
Who are we
Family Development & Samaritan Foundation was founded in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization. We exist to advance the lives of individuals and families by being a voice to the voiceless in order for them to lead meaningful and impactful lives. We have covered several projects in different communities and countries that have brought significant change to the lives of those we serve. With continuous involvement in serving the community, FDSF has aided and impacted many families throughout the nations.
Our philosophy is that, “success is not only the attainment of knowledge and skills but also the impact made with what has been attained.”
FDSF WAS FOUNDED
LIVES HAVE BEEN IMPACTED
FAITH-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION
FDSF makes long-lasting impacts that positively affects generations to come. This mission is achieved through these four goals
Strengthening and developing families through impactful and sustainable initiatives.
Empowering and fostering the lives of women and girls through quality education, mentorship, and guidance.
Providing resources and opportunities to individuals and families from low socio-economic backgrounds.
Implementing literacy programs that assist in bridging the educational achievement gap; providing instructional intervention for the youth.
Dr Tayo and Sarah Emmanuel
Dr. Tayo and Sarah Emmanuel, founders of FDSF, grew up in an environment where they encountered several children homeless, deprived of food and shelter, and many more who were orphans. Without hesitating, both Dr. Tayo and Sarah Emmanuel made a decision to dedicate themselves to serving others, a decision that has led them to transform thousands of lives.
Last year alone, we reached more than 20,000 children and families with the help of corporate, foundation and individual donors. This is to show that we are not alone. Our partners work hand in hand with our team to ensure that we provide the best resources to those in need.
