Department: LadiesT.A.L.K - Membership Program
Employment Term: 1 Year (min. 10 hours - max. 15 hours weekly)
Reports to: Assistant Program Director(s)
Salary: Unpaid Internship / Volunteer
LadiesT.A.L.K is a platform designed to educate, mentor, and empower women that desire to break free from circumstances that undervalue their potentials or undermine their creativity. LadiesT.A.L.K's goal is to help women become (Top-Notch, Accomplished, Leader, Knowledgeable) women they are destined to be. We are seeking high-energy individuals to help with our membership platform for women around the world. This membership provides resources to ladies for their professional and personal development, making opportunities accessible to people in marginalized societies.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities of the Research Team Lead & Assistants:
This team is the foundation of the Membership Program Department in LadiesT.A.L.K. The goal of the Research Team Leads & Assistants is to create and find opportunities for LadiesT.A.L.K members, which is determined by their demographics. This role requires conducting research months ahead instead of operating on a month-to-month basis.
Assist with the development and preparation of technical assistance materials, newsletters, research papers, PowerPoint presentations, blog posts, social media posts, website content, and other written product relating to LadiesT.A.L.K.
Conduct program research, including member’s demographics, scholarship opportunities, networking opportunities, and other related programs for members to participate in.
Develop surveys and analyze data to distill themes and key points
Collaborate with Communications Managers to develop and maintain consistent communications and branding strategies for LadiesT.A.L.K Membership Program.
Working with team lead to create bi-weekly reports and upload reports to Microsoft Teams.
Assist with planning and execution of meetings and webinars, taking responsibility for the effective use of support technology such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Assist with the planning of the annual LadiesT.A.L.K Conference, include developing an agenda, coordinating logistics, and refining session materials.
Creating demographics of meeting attendees and members to strategize with monthly meeting staff on efficient ways of following up with the attendees.

Motivated, self-starter who works well independently and as an engaged team member.
Confident in communicating with new people from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrate keen use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SurveyMonkey.
Excellent orientation to detail, deadlines, and organizational and time management skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Knowledge and experience, or willingness to learn design and communications software (Adobe In-Design, Canva, Constant Contact, etc). This will be used in collaboration with Social Media Managers and Communications Managers.
Must be comfortable with deadlines and have a reliable working computer or laptop.
Must always present a professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, creative environment and workplace while contributing to a well-respected, high-functioning group of go-getters.
Committed to lifelong learning and curiosity.
Requirements:
Able to attend mandatory training
Able to participate in team meetings
Some flexibility with nights and weekends
Working Environment:
This internship opportunity is 100% virtual. Volunteers will utilize Microsoft Teams and Outlook to communicate with their team members.
*Although this is advertised as an unpaid volunteer internship opportunity, students can use this opportunity to receive credits for their courses or Capstone programs. Stipends will be provided to students based on program funds.
